When you sign up and or create an account on Twiqle,  you agree and are subject to the terms set out below. By continuing to use Twiqle when the terms set out below are modified, of which you will be notified, you agree to said changes and modifications.



Children, Age And Twiqle Services

Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13 years. You are required to be old enough to consent to the processing of your personal data in your country and/or legal jurisdiction.


Information You Share With Twiqle




Direct Account and User Information


In order to use Twiqle, you must provide personal data and/or information. This includes, but is not limited to your unique username, display name, email address and phone number. To enhance others and your own Twiqle experience and to further identify yourself, you may upload profile media (e.g. profile picture, header image, wallpaper, posts, reactions etc…) and make transactions on your Twiqle Wallet.




Indirect User and Device Information


In order for you to use Twiqle, We require information about your device and user information. This includes device model, make, location, cookies, log data (how and when you interact with Twiqle services. For example, when you click a button.)We collect the same information from our advertising partners.






In Summary

Twiqle is intended to create a personalised and safe place of creativity, discovery and collaborations. When using Twiqle services you help and contribute to both our communities.  Create, discover, collaborate and interact with respect for other users, applicable laws and Twiqle.



To Be Clear




Authenticity and Content IP


Create, share and/or use content that you own or have the right and consent to use. Do not post, duplicate or copy content from Twiqle or other sources that you do not have the right to share and/or post. This includes but is not limited to photos, videos or intellectual property from the internet or other sites or platforms




Nudity


Nudity is prohibited on Twiqle. This includes but is not limited to content that show or expose sexual intercourse, genitals, barefemale nipples and close-ups of fully-nude buttocks.  For those who may share content containing their children: For a plethora of reasons, we may remove content that show nude or partially-nude children, including those shared with good intentions.



Respecting other Users and Twiqle


We can and will remove content that warrants threats or hate speech, content that targets private individuals to degrade or shame them, personal information meant to blackmail or harass someone, repeated unwanted messages, content that encourages violence or attacks anyone based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disabilities, or diseases. We will also remove content that contains threats of harm to public and personal safety. This includes specific threats of physical harm as well as threats of theft, vandalism, and other financial harm.



Banning


We can and will remove or ban accounts and/or devices that that violate the law, basic human rights or Twiqle terms of use and/or platform policies; warrant threats or hate speech, content that targets private individuals to degrade or shame them, use personal information in a way that is meant to blackmail or harass someone, repeated unwanted messages, content that encourages violence or attacks anyone based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disabilities, or diseases. We will also remove or ban accounts and/devices that post or share content that contains threats of harm to public and personal safety. This includes specific threats of physical harm, fraudulent activity and/or transactions as well as threats of theft, vandalism, and other financial and non-stipulated harm.


Should you be banned before withdrawing your Twiqle funds in your Twiqle Wallet, they will be forfeited unless in the case where said funds were not accumulated through non-Twiqle sources such as Deposit. 


You will be given the chance to withdraw your funds into the verified account of your choice and you should do so within 183 days.



Types Of Twiqle Content



Profile


Default User Profiles. These are Twiqle profiles that allow any other authenticated Twiqle user to view and interact with your profile and your content. A profile contains a wallpaper, a header image, an info box, and your feed; Which is a gridview of your Toots and or Tweedles. Your info box will contain your display name, your verification badges where applicable, your username, the number of users you are following, the number of users who follow you and your bio where applicable. You may edit your profile and its media at any time with the exception of the username which may only be edited once every 20 days.



Posts


Toots (Media Based Post)


A Twiqle Toots is a Media (Image and Videos) based post that you can share to Twiqle, that will appear on your profile, feed, other people’s discover feed and your follower’s home feed. 


You may choose to upload Twiqle Toots to everyone which means everyone on the Twiqle Platform will be able to view your Twiddle or you can upload your Twiqle Toots to your Skeem and only Twiqle users who are in your Skeem will see your Toots. 


You may have up to 10 images or videos in your Twiqle Toots. 


You may like and unlike Twiqle Toots at any time using the heart shapes icon.


You may reply and/or react to a Twiqle Toots with another Toots, your own uploaded reaction, a GIF or a Tweedle.


You can set and decide who may view or download your Twiqle Toots at any time using the edit and icon. 

You may delete a Twiqle Toots at any time.


Tweedle (Text Based Post)


A Twiqle Tweedle is text based post that you can share to Twiqle, that will appear on your profile, feed, other people's Toots discover feed and your follower’s Tweedle feed. 


You may choose to upload Twiqle Tweedle to everyone which means everyone on the Twiqle Platform will be able to view your Twiddle or you can upload your Twiqle Tweedle to your Skeem and only Twiqle users who are in your Skeem will see your Toots. 


You may have up to 4 images or videos in your Twiqle Tweedle. 


You can set and decide who may view or download your Twiqle Tweedle at any time using the edit and icon. 


You may reply and/or react to a Twiqle Tweedle with another Tweedle, your own uploaded reaction, a GIF or a Toots.


You may turn a Twiqle Tweedle into a Twiqle Toots and back to a Twiqle Tweedle at any time, granted that the Tweedle has at least one Image or Video in it. 


You may like and unlike Twiqle Tweedle at any time using the heart shapes icon.

A single Twiqle Tweedle may have up to 300 English characters. 


You may ReTweedle your own or another user’s Tweedle for your followers and other Twiqle users.


You may attach a Twiqle Toots to a Twiqle Tweedle. 

 

You may delete a Twiqle Tweedle at any time.




Twiqle Wallet




Account


Twiqle currently only supports one currency, the South African Rand (ZAR). Exchange rates are applicable.


You may not perform any transaction on your account and/or wallet without activating Media Account Recovery, verifying your wallet and assigning a 4 digit pin to your Twiqle Wallet. 


You may not transfer, withdraw or deposit without entering the 4 digit pin code you assigned to your wallet. 


You may only enter the incorrect 4 digit wallet pin code a maximum of 3 times before your wallet verification is revoked and you are required to re-verify your Twiqle Wallet and assign a new 4 digit code. 


You may reset your Twiqle Wallet Pin once every calendar month. 


For security purposes, once you submit a request to reset your Twiqle Wallet Pin, your Twiqle Wallet will be unverified until your request is approved. Should your pin reset request not  be approved, your wallet will remain unverified.




Withdrawal


Every Withdrawal request on your  Twiqle Wallet remains pending once it has been submitted and will only be approved when all but not limited to the following criteria are met:

  • User has not violated Twiqle policies in the 3 consecutive calendar months.  

  • Media Account Recovery active

  • Twiqle Wallet is verified

  • User has entered the correct Twiqle Wallet pin.

  • Withdrawal bank account is verified, except in the event where the user withdraws to a paypal account. 

  • Withdrawal amount does not exceed the user’s wallet balance.

  • Withdrawal amount does not exceed 5000 (Five Thousand)  South African Rands.(ZAR).



Transfer


Every Transfer request on your Twiqle Wallet remains pending once it has been submitted and will only be approved when all but not limited to the following criteria are met:

  • User has not violated Twiqle policies in the 3 consecutive calendar months.

  • Media Account Recovery active.

  • Twiqle Wallet is verified

  • User has entered the correct Twiqle Wallet pin.

  • User you are being Transferred to has not violated Twiqle policies in the 3 consecutive calendar months.

  • Transfer amount does not exceed the user’s wallet balance.

  • Transfer amount does not exceed 5000 (Five Thousand)  South African Rands.(ZAR).



Deposit


Every Deposit request on your Twiqle Wallet remains pending once it has been submitted and will only be approved when all but not limited to the following criteria are met:

  • User has not violated Twiqle policies in the 3 consecutive calendar months.

  • Media Account Recovery active.

  • Twiqle Wallet is verified

  • User has entered the correct Twiqle Wallet pin.

  • Deposit amount does not exceed 5000 (Five Thousand)  South African Rands.(ZAR).



Tax, VAT and Returns



It is your own responsibility to see that you comply with your local tax and VAT laws where applicable. Under no circumstance is Twiqle or related parties responsible for your tax, VAT, income and return obligations.



Twiqle Ads



Twiqle reserves the right to retain any funds, refuse to allocate and/or pay any user that violates relevant international and/or regional laws, Twiqle Platform policies or participates in actions or activity that Twiqle may deem unjust, harmful and/or fraudulent.



In order to place or display ads on their content, all but not limited to the following requirements must be met by the user:

  • Image Account Recovery must be active. 

  • Must have not violated any Twiqle Policies in the last 3 consecutive calendar months. 

  • Must have uploaded a header image, wallpaper and must have at least 3 posts. The last post must be within the calendar month. 

  • Must meet Ad relevant Ad placement Tier Requirements.

Failure to consistently meet these requirements is deemed as a violation of Twiqle policies and will result in the removal of Twiqle Ads on your content and funds gained from Twiqle Ads during the duration of the violation are also subject to removal.

Profile Ads


Profile Ads are ads that are displayed on your profile and will be viewed by yourself and other users when visiting your profile.

Placement

Profile Ad 1: Above header section on profile.

Profile Ad 2: Below header section on profile.

Profile Ad 3: In your Watermark section. 

Profile Ad 4: Below your info and above you content(posts)


Please note that Profile Ad 1 and Profile Ad 2 cannot be displayed at the same time and the user can only select either.




Toots Ads


Toots Ads are ads that are displayed on your Tweedle pages and will be viewed by yourself and other users when viewing Toots on Twiqle.


Toots Ad: This ad is displayed below a randomly selected Toot in a list of Toots.



Tweedle Ads


Tweedle Ads are ads that are displayed on your Tweedle pages and will be viewed by yourself and other users when viewing Tweedles on Twiqle.


Tweedle Ad: This ad is displayed below a randomly selected Tweedle in a list of Toots



Discover Ads


Discover Ads are ads that are displayed on your Discover page and will be viewed by yourself when visiting your discover feed.

Discover Ad 1: Below the AppBar and above your discover posts grid. 

Discover Ad 2: In your discover feed grid. 

Discover Ad 3: Below your discover posts grid or the end of your page.



Twiqle payment distribution



Our Ad payments and distribution is based on a Per Ad Per View (PAPV) Model, with each ad having varying PAPV rates. You will be compensated for each Ad you view and where relevant, the Suer th content the Ad is displayed on will also be compensated. 


Please note that Ad views and payments are subject to Ad Availability.



The following is how each Ad view is paid and/or distributed.



Discover Ad 1 & 3: You will be compensated 20% - 50% of the PAPV rate. 


Discover Ad 2: You will be compensated 20% - 50% of the PAPV rate. 


Toots & Tweedle Ad: You will be compensated 0% - 5% for viewing a Toots and Tweedle Ad and the creator of the content the Ad is attached to, will be compensated 50% - 70% of the PAPV rate. 


Profile Ad 1,2,3,4: You will be compensated 0% - 5% for viewing a Profile Ad and the creator of the Profile Ad is displayed in, will be compensated 50% - 70% of the PAPV rate. 




Media Account Recovery (MAR)




Media account recovery is used by Twiqle to verify a user and allow said user to recover their account using media such as facial and ID images and videos. 


Twiqle does not verify users under the age of 18 years without the consent of an MAR active Adult Twiqle User. 


Anyone above the age of 13 years may use Twiqle services and will be subject to this and other relevant policies.


Once you have submitted your Media Account Recovery request, Twiqle will approve or reject the request within 30 days. This request will also be used to verify your Twiqle Wallet.


If your request is approved, your Media Account Recovery will be active and Twiqle Wallet will be verified. 


If your request is denied. Your Media Account Recovery and Twiqle Wallet will remain unverified.

If your Media Account Recovery was previously active, It will be deactivated and your Twiqle Wallet will be unverified.


To update your Media Account Recovery, you must upload the same ID that was used in the first Media Account recovery. 


You may update your Media Account Recovery once every calendar year (365 days).


You may only re-activate your Media Account Recovery once every calendar month.




Restricting Users (Blocking)




In addition to Twiqle making an effort to make a consistent effort to create and maintain a safe platform, we provide you with a feature that allows you to maximise your own safety and comfortability on the Twiqle platform. This feature is called restriction as opposed to blocking. 


Unlike blocking all interactions with a user on the platform, we allowing you to decide what kind of interactions to restrict and here is how:

  • You may restrict a user from viewing and interacting with your profile and/or content at any time.

  • You may restrict yourself from viewing and interacting with another user's profile and/or their content at any time.

You may also un-restrict yourself or another user at any time unless a user has restricted you, in which case they will also have to un-restrict you.
